When there are disputes between people and/or companies who are looking for compensation most people believe that the dispute is always taken to trial. What many don’t know is that there is a way to avoid all of the hassles and time that it takes to sit through a trial and listen to the stories of both parties as they hash it out in front of the judge.
Instead they can use a legal technique called arbitration – which is when the matter is resolved outside of the courtroom.

During these arbitration sessions both parties will dispute their sides to the arbitrators that are assigned to the case. After listening to both sides the arbitrators or arbiters (there may only be need of one person) will decide who will receive what.

Arbitration is commonly used to resolve commercial disputes, to implement credit obligations, and even to resolve any unresolved legal problems between family members or lovers.
